Dear friends,
We would like to thank you for the pleasant atmosphere at the Ball Day, which you managed to create with your visit. This year’s event was enriched by a sales fair, which attracted the attention of not only local residents. At the fair you could buy various fashion accessories, refreshments and flowers. At the same time, there was a large turnout at the stalls that offered small workshops for children and adults.
A record attendance was recorded for the ball frying tournament, with more players participating in one day than last year’s entire weekend. Players achieved great results this year and were rewarded with nothing but fizzing balls.
The glassblowers from Florian’s glassworks entertained the visitors present with their skills. At their booth it was possible to buy products made of forest glass, which is used to make replicas of historical glassware.
Thanks to all the vendors and exhibitors who were not afraid and accepted our invitation even though the weather forecast was not favourable. Eventually, however, the weather moderated and the number of visitors increased as the sun rose.
Our thanks also go to the Loděnice municipal administration, the local Arttime association, the firefighters and the Loděnice primary school, who participated in the preparation and successful course of the fair.
We hope that this event will become a tradition in Loděnice and that next year’s event will be even more successful than this year’s.
