Physical and Chemical Properties of KUGLER-COLORS® Overlay Glass
The physical and chemical properties of KUGLER-COLORS® glass compositions are designed to be compatible with commonly used glasses in the production of decorative and artistic glass items.
Thermal expansion: 96 ± 2 x 10-7/K-1
Cooling range: 480°C – 520°C
Average cooling temperature: 500°C
Notice
We recommend customers to perform a thermal expansion test (ring or Sharp test) and a color compatibility test on the glass batch before production. If the specific batch is unsuitable due to incompatible expansion or color shade, we will exchange the delivered glass for another batch upon return.
Please note that we do not accept any responsibility if a customer produces items without prior testing that subsequently crack or fail color expectations. In case of a complaint, the above tests must be provided.
