These glitters have a wide range of uses, primarily due to their excellent shine, low specific gravity, and good resistance to water, solvents, and UV radiation.
They are utilized in the cosmetic industry for the production of nail polishes, gels, hair sprays, and make-up products. They can also enhance PVC products such as flooring and wallpapers. Additionally, they are added to hobby paints and colored sprays.
The Grade I series is used in the paper and textile industries. Applications include screen printing, rotary printing, and thermal printing. Occasionally, the Grade II series is used as a cheaper alternative, but Grade I glitters are made from thinner foil and higher-quality color pigments.
Grade I glitters are also found in fiberglass constructions and polyester-based powder coatings, which are used to finish bicycle frames.
