SiLibeads® type ZY-E are made from zirconium oxide, stabilized with yttrium during production. They are characterized by extremely high wear resistance. The letter E stands for “Extreme Durability.” Another feature is the specially polished bead surface, which significantly reduces possible contamination of the milled product.
The use of these ceramic beads is common in the production of paints and paint removers, in the ceramic industry, as well as in the agrochemical and cosmetic industries.
