Our production and processing technologies for glass beads are based on a long tradition of manufacturing glass pearls and beads. We have further developed and adapted these processes for demanding applications in pharmaceuticals, paint industry, cosmetics, and the chemical industry.
The raw material (roughly pressed beads) is predominantly sourced through custom manufacturing by our partners (glassworks or glass processors), using our machines and molds. We select suppliers based on the required properties of the glass composition needed for the final beads.
To ensure a high quality in further processing, we delegate manufacturing competencies to specialized partners. This enables us to achieve high precision and quality in the finished glass beads.
At our headquarters in Loděnice near Beroun, we maintain a large inventory of the full range of glass beads to ensure supplier flexibility and a wide product variety.
All glass and ceramic beads we supply undergo final inspection at our Loděnice site, according to our internal standards and international quality control standards, specifically the AQL system. Upon request, we provide customers with measurement protocols from our inspections, product sheets, safety data sheets, or other specialized information tailored to the quality standards of the specific product.
In 2011, we decided to relocate and further develop part of our specialized glass bead production for medical purposes to our own premises in Loděnice. For this purpose, we built a new production hall and received a grant from the European Structural Funds under the Operational Programme for Business and Innovation. Thanks to this, we implemented a unique process for producing borosilicate beads using a rounding furnace, which we developed in cooperation with the company Desko.
